Construction Grade Gravels and Sands

Construction grade gravels and sands are the raw materials used in the construction of patios, walkways, driveways and retaining walls. Grade 9 and limestone screenings are often used for base work while limestone chips are used as backfill behind retaining walls. Torpedo and mason sand finish off the base as the leveling course for pavers and retaining wall block to sit upon.
